Enforcement

Is your ex withholding visitation, child support, or spousal support? Parents and ex-spouses may file a motion with the Court to enforce your order or decree of divorce. A person violating a court order for visitation or support may be held in contempt and ordered to pay the other party's attorney fees. I have experience successfully getting opposing parties to make peace and follow the orders with and without court intervention. Have you been accused of not paying child support or spousal support? Circumstances may justify lowering your support obligation. I defend clients who are truly unable to pay and those who have made their payments outside the formal process at the child support office.
