Child Support

Child support in most cases is calculated according to the guidelines established by the legislature in the Texas Family Code. You can calculate guideline child support here. Exceptions apply in many cases depending on the needs of the child, the circumstances of the parties, including disability, or the parties' agreement.

Enforcement

Have you been accused of not paying child support or spousal support? Circumstances may justify lowering your support obligation. I defend clients who are truly unable to pay and those who have made their payments outside the formal process at the child support office.
